Pernix is looking to hire for a Construction Security Manager. This position will be for an international project in various locations.

This person will be responsible for maintaining site security procedures in coordination with Post and Client. They will be responsible for contract compliance and corporate security directives related to security. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure contractor personnel are adhering to personnel requirements and requisite reporting is provided to the Facility Security Officer and Site Security Manager
• Knowledge of security procedures and the level of security required in each area of the job site
• Write detailed reports and complete the analysis of issues, findings, and security situations that require staff action
• Maintain daily logs
• Maintain security in-brief / out-brief for site personnel; schedule/coordinate with the Site Security Manager or Regional Security Officer as needed
• Review and process company and individual background checks
• Manage site access
• Ensuring compliance with all contract requirements related to security

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum five years of experience managing information and personnel security issues on an international government project site
• MUST have a U.S. Government Security Clearance
• PREFER working knowledge of the application of the OBO Security Classification Guide for the design and construction of overseas facilities
• PREFER past exposure to working on a construction site
